| 背景资料 | Protein AMBP is a protein that in humans is encoded by the AMBP gene.This gene encodes a complex glycoprotein secreted in plasma.The precursor is proteolytically processed into distinct functioning proteins:alpha-1-microglobulin,which belongs to the superfamily of lipocalin transport proteins and may play a role in the regulation of inflammatory processes,and bikunin,which is a urinary trypsin inhibitor belonging to the superfamily of Kunitz-type protease inhibitors and plays an important role in many physiological and pathological processes.Human bikunin is generated through cleavage of a precursor molecule termed AMBP.This AMBP should not be confused with AMBP-1,a 120～140kDa adrenomedullin-binding protein that is also known as Complement Factor H.The AMBP precursor contains a 19 aa signal sequence,an N-terminal 183 aa A1M protein (aa 20-203),and the C-terminal serine protease inhibitor bikunin (aa 206-352). |
